At Pacificheart Childcare, our staff is more than just a team—we’re a family. Each member of our team brings unique skills, compassion, and dedication to creating a positive and engaging environment for the children we care for.
We pride ourselves on working together seamlessly, supporting one another, and sharing a commitment to making every child feel safe, valued, and inspired. From planning creative activities to fostering connections with families, our collaborative approach ensures we provide the best care possible.

Pacificheart hires staff based on the Victoria Island Health Authority guidelines. Our staff are interviewed, reference checked and trained to follow our mission and philosophy.

Cayla
Cayla has a deep passion for supporting children and creating positive, enriching environments for families. She brings both professional expertise and personal experience to the program. As a mama to her son, Wilder, Cayla understands firsthand the importance of safe, reliable, and meaningful childcare that encourages both fun and growth!

Mairead
Mairead received her bachelor’s degree in Child and Youth Care just one year prior to her accreditation as a certified Irish Dance instructor and youth fitness trainer. Mairead strives to be active in her every day. Mairead’s love of youth is apparent in her interaction with all of her students. Mairead is also a mom of two!

Kenzie
Kenzie is a valued part of our Deep Cove location, known for her reliability, calm presence, and genuine care for every child in our program. Families and staff trust her create a safe, welcoming environment where children feel supported, included, and excited to be. We're so lucky to have her leading our deep cove program this year!!

Zoë is quirky, crafty, and creative. She constantly finds new ways to improve our program. Her innovative ideas and love for her work make her an invaluable part of the team. Zoë’s ability to think outside the box and bring fresh perspectives ensures that both kids and staff are always engaged and excited. Her commitment to fostering a fun, creative, and inclusive environment makes her an invaluable part of the team.
